There are plenty of ethical issues facing healthcare concerns , from the consideration of the will ' of the patient to the consideration of the decisions of either the attending medical physician or the relatives of the patient . In any of these cases , an ethical dilemma arise where oftentimes the authority to decide on the situation is confronted with the task of choosing the best , if not the right , course of action Moreover , there is also the consideration as to who exactly is the proper authority ' in specific instances . There are many factors that should be considered in judging the proper course of action in ethical dilemmas , specifically in terms of healthcare . Healthcare providers , for the most part , have to resolve these issues with very minimal or zero drawbacks
