Parents sometimes use physical punishment to make their child behave and obey their commands . always makes a big issue in the society However , a case of mother or a father beating a child seems a normal scenario and a less worthy problem for the public to pay attention to This kind of abuse is considered as social and sociological problem (Gelles , 1985 .Many women experience domestic violence in their lifetime and there are millions of women around the world suffer from physical and sexual assault by their intimate partners each year . Apparently , most victims of domestic violence are women and they are often victimized by someone they knew . In million of cases of domestic violence , only few of those are being reported to the authority
