As soon as I finished the call Jeri asked if I have to go to a local campus to do things in person or otherwise be validated as a student . I explained that the University of Phoenix does have locations in several areas and some programs have online and on sight classes . But for the most part Axia college is an online college . I said that it is great that you can do more than download music and fish for dates on line , and we had a big laugh . I told Jeri that the internet is great technology for education and some home schoolers use a similar learning environment . Jeri asked what attracted me to an online university .
