After its accession to WTO in 2002 , China garments and cloth exports to UK , US and EU markets increased enormously reaching US 78 .8 billion in 2003 , which represents about 18 percent of China In the first half of the 2004 , the US 25 .96 billion increasing 21 percent . The main markets for these exports are UK , US , South Korea and EU countries

Clothes are becoming less expensive with each passing day in UK , which has put UK retail in a cutthroat situation . The problem is double , on one side cloths are imported and on other jobs are also being vanquishing . There is no doubt the retail price is going up , but clothing price went up only 16 percent , while the women wear prices has reversed and fallen by one third due to the invasion of cheaper clothing
