Women 's participation in political , economic , and social aspects of the United States has come a long way since the right to suffrage has been granted to women . This includes a discussion in terms of the changes in the participation of women in the political landscape of the United States from

the 1970s to the present times . Likewise , an analysis of the impact of women 's participation in the affairs of electoral politics and economic and social policy are also included . Research is conducted through online and library researches to include data from both relevant and credible websites and books . A trend regarding the degree of participation of women and the level to which their presence is felt has shown that there are advances and changes in terms of the rights and opportunities provided compared to before but there is more that is yet to be achieved .
