Describing why you want to continue your Professional Career in Early Childhood

Continuing my career in Early Childhood Education is extremely important to me . More than anything , I enjoy working with children and shaping and influencing the lives of young people . I , myself , am a lifelong learner , and I look forward to helping children develop that skill in themselves . I believe that one can never learn too much . There is always a place for further education as it helps us grow personally and professionally

For the past 16 years , I have been a Preschool Owner /Director , and I

have so enjoyed my time . In 1988 , I earned and AS and in 1991 an AA but I look forward to continuing my education even more . My knowledge of child growth and development has proven valuable on a daily basis and it has been rewarding to plan activities around their development For example , I incorporate physical /motor skills in many of the activities we do . I favor open-ended play in to stimulate their creativity . Learning more about the value of play and learning how to come up with more creative ideas would be something any daycare provider could benefit from . I enjoy introducing them to new literacy activities where they can build a foundation for future language study . Educating parents and helping them come up with ideas to further the opportunities for their children have also been important . Optimal time periods do exist for students to learn certain material .
