In the California plant , the network configurations and the characteristics are as following

Number of nodes and workstation types (i .e . Pentium etc : There are 48 nodes and workstations composing of 20 machines (Pentium 3 Celeron CPUs for accounting department 20 machines (Windows XP Pro ) for Sales persons one human resource PCs , and 7 Mac (OS 10 ) at marketing department

Number of servers : There are 5 servers in the plant composing of Proxy Server 2 .0 , two server at IT Department , Windows 2000 server

, and Microsoft Exchange 5 server

Applications (i .e , e-mail , Windows , MS Office , etc : The plant also implements multiple applications such as Windows NT for server , Windows XP , OS 10 for Mac , and e-mail

Architecture (i .e , client /server , peer-to-peer , mainframe , segmented etc . The network configuration shows that the architecture in the plant adopts the client-server scheme
