Death
br 1 . In the event of my death , I wish to be embalmed because even though I know that I shall return to the dust from where I came from , I do not want to rush it . As for an autopsy . I see no need for it provided that I died under medical supervision . If I have a home or any other sort of death , I want to be autopsied . It is important for me that my family know why and how I died so that they can have closure regarding my death . With

regards to organ donation , I believe that any of my organs that can be used to save another human life should be harvested and used . That way , my death will not have been in vain and I can continue to live on in those people whom I helped from the beyond . My family has a tradition of having a 3 day wake for the death so it is but natural that my remaining loved ones will follow suit . During the wake , I want a memorial table set up and everything that I own which made the unique person I was in life , should be placed in display . I do not want my wake to be a sad event . I want people to be happy and remember their happy times with me so I guess I would indicate that I want a TV set and DVD player to be brought to the chapel so that my family and friends can gather and watch home movies that were taken during my life time . I want them to remember as I was in life . Not as I was in death . Instead of flowers , I want vigil candles to be lighted at both ends of my casket . I would rather have my way into the afterlife well lit rather than have flowers . But if I must have flowers , I want to have Stargazer arrangements place in the chapel . If Stargazers are not available , I want white or pink roses arranged . On the morning of my final wake , I want a traditional mass for the death to be held by a Catholic priest . I want my casket to be blessed by the priest and my loved ones using holy water . I do not want to have a funeral procession . Instead , I want all my friends and relatives who will be accompanying me to my final resting place to drive their cars at normal traffic . I have never believed in the value of a slow funeral procession because by this time , everybody just wants to go home and rest and they should not prolong their exhaustion any longer than they have to . At the church or during the final mass at the funeral home , I want the choir to sing or have the CD of Carrie Underwood played . More specifically , her songs entitled Don 't Forget To Remember Me , We 're Young and Beautiful , and Inside your Heaven because all those songs speak...
