Glenda O 'Dell Professor Jamo College Composition II February 7 , 2008 The Best Day Ever . So My Parents and History Say Nearly a week after the first man landed on the moon , and just days before Woodstock 's maiden art and music fair , the loud and eager cries I made as a newborn baby , on the 1st1 of August , were perhaps my earliest symbolic cheer for the slogans of that "one giant leap of mankind "Apollo 11 Lands on the Moon ) and "rock and roll "Dissent and Discovery ) of the year

1969 among other great occasions . My parents say that there pervaded an air of serenity and calm in Joplin , Missouri , a quiet which was later minutely shattered by my frail baby cries .
