Cultural Diversity in the Workplace
With the relative diverse environments various groups are within , there are still similarities that can be seen . They still exhibit the norms characteristics and practices that contribute to the notion of culture and an elaboration of how society continues to affect these people 's actions . In the end , though the responses have been diverse and vary in nature , the overall concept is that distinct culture emanates from these which in turn contribute to their movement and growth The interviewed respondents came from the organizations (1 ) Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services (SAMSHA

) and (2 ) The American College of Cardiology (ACC . Among the people interviewed come from respective professionals in their respective fields . In addition , there were two (2 ) respondents from ACC and three (3 ) from SAMSHA . As far as sex is concerned , there are 2 females and 3 males involved in the interview The next section deals with the two groups initial responses in the interview
Perception of society
The first important facet asked during the interview concerns how these individuals believe he /she is being perceived by society . Looking at the responses from the ACC , which comprise of one male and female , they have similar answers to such questions . The two of them mentioned that their individual role in saving lives as a medical practitioner is what society expects them to be . Their individual contribution for the betterment of man is what each one aspires for . Lastly , the two respondents believe that society sees them as the bridge towards change Since they are educators , providing sufficient and adequate educational opportunities for students can help shape and improve the way medicine is facilitated for patients
Similarly the three respondents from the SAMSHA also have similar outlook towards how society sees them . One of the male respondents mentioned that due to their diverse workforce , there are numerous efforts made by each one to help people who are suffering from substance abuse or creating awareness programs that promotes the prevention of such occurrence . Similarly , the respondents also see themselves as educators . Though they are not that licensed and certified liked people from ACC , their relevant experiences can also serve as a tool for community development
Communication strategies
As far as communication strategies are concerned , the respondents from ACC mention the organization 's commitment towards establishing the necessary correspondence among its members and its scope . In achieving such objective , the members take part in annual meetings to discuss and create appropriate strategies needed to make its endeavors and projects efficient and effective . On the other hand , the respondents also mentioned that there are several communication procedures that are already outdated and needs to be scrapped or amended . Each one agreed that by doing so , better modes of facilitation can be established and created for the betterment of the organization and the groups and individuals it caters to
Looking at the SAMSHA , the respondents also mentioned that the organization has been also committed in enhancing its communication processes among its members and the individuals...
