The Road Less Traveled is one of the best books written by M . Scott Peck , a well known psychiatrist who collected various stories , made ideas , and finally wrote about these things . He was also a known spiritual teacher in his time . He died at the age of 69 of Parkinson 's disease and

cancer of the pancreas and the liver duct . Although he said that it was hard following his own advice , with a considerate narrative approach , his book emphasized themes he labeled as discipline , love growth and religion , and grace . Every piece is filled with convincing writings about the themes as well as anecdotes that are based on Dr Peck 's own personal life and psychiatric practices
