Essay Questions - Criminal Justice (Leeson 3)

Refer to the typology that classifies crime according to its nature (the typology that includes occupational crime , organized crime , visible crime , victimless crime , political crime , and cybercrime . Describe which of these is most likely to be counted by the UCR and NCVS . Then briefly describe how counting only one type might influence political discussions regarding the criminal justice system

With the use of UCR and NCVS , there is a likely chance of having a certain case be solved since it is one way for having a solution on a certain scenario which

However , the proper use of the system should also be considered since it is very important for us to understand it because it will be our basis and by using it incorrectly , there will be a big tendency that our findings will turn out incorrect or inappropriate

According to the example given in the material which was required of us to read , a sensible way to measure something is to use a tape measure however , there is no assurance that the measurement that will be given by the tape measure is exact to the item or material being measured Same as the use of analogy to something that is not appropriate to use for

Another example is the use of measurement when an engine has just...
