In terms of the Graphic User Interface (GUI ) of both computers , I would definitely say that the Mac has its advantage . The colors are more prominent and there are fewer pixels . Windows , on the other hand may have to adjust the resolution of its videos and images based on the specifications of their video card . Normally , a low resolution is needed for videos and images so such problems are easily resolved

A significant difference between the two operating systems is basically its accessibility for the users . For example , in for Windows to properly run a specific program , it must first be installed first . A message box will automatically pop when the disk has been played , and the users are asked to first install the program . Apple on the other hand , allows read-only ' s , and does not necessarily need programs to be installed

Another thing to be considered is their difference in uninstalling programs . For Windows , programs usually contain an uninstaller that may be used in the event that an installed program is no longer needed Everything that falls under a specific program is deleted upon clicking the uninstall ' button . In Apple , on the other hand , programs do not necessarily need to be uninstalled . All the user needs to do is to click the program and drag it towards the trash icon . This is quite easy , but it also has its downsides . Dragging the program to the trash icon would delete the program , but not entirely . The s that were created by the deleted program are left in the Library . The user has to delete the said s manually , hoping that no other s are accidentally deleted . In addition to this , the user must also delete the contents of the Trash icon so as to save the space

Another notable difference between the two is their components . Apple users are complacent because there are less hardware clashes .
