I am inquiring about your kindergarten teaching position . I am currently pursuing a Masters degree in Counseling Psychology . I believe my one year position as a school counselor along with my willingness to learn qualifies me for consideration for this position

From my experience in the school , I have discovered that by establishing positive relationships with students and collaborating with colleagues one 's ability as a teacher

is greater . An effective teacher should also implement a variety of teaching techniques that illustrates their knowledge while initiating their own professional development . Most children this age learn through hands-on play and interactive activities , thus the basic job uses games and other tools such as computers to introduce the students to the school environment

Teachers should also be willing to work outside of the classroom and adhere to professional standards while modeling integrity and respect to their students and their parents . A kindergarten teacher has a great influence on the early development of their students (usually aged 4 to 6 . The way children are taught at this age has the potential to shape their interpersonal and intra personal view of the world . The role as a kindergarten teacher is also important because you are given the responsibility to teach the fundamentals of learning which include shapes , numbers , colors and beginning letter recognition

In saying this , I recognize the responsibility involved with this position and willingly would love to take on this role . I have a great interest in working with these children and would love to be given the opportunity to help shape their new experience , going to school
