The Statement of Work (SOW ) checklist should be able to address the

shortcomings of any given contract or a project on several factors leading to the

successful completion of the proposed contract or project . The SOW checklist will

effectively help in ensuring that all required information is covered

Most important of all in a checklist is its interpretability . This makes sure that all

the information in the SOW is clearly interpreted and in the right meaning to avoid

unnecessary

misunderstanding and clashes between the stakeholders in any given

contract . Much as there should be an SOW in any serious , so should a checklist that will

stand in the test of interpretation . We are hereby forced to look at some factors such as

the deliverables of the SOW . The purpose of the project or contract in terms of the areas

that it covers , simply referred to as scope , and the strategies of management that go with

it are among the deliverables that are of great importance (Miller 2006

The SOW should precisely define the project or contract so as to save time and it

should also set goals that are realistic besides the objectives as it also should help in

building agreement amongst all stakeholders . Time saving measures include the

combining concepts and merging the steps to be taken , all into one SOW production . By
