Being a Certified Public Accountant

The various skills , values , interests , learning styles , and other assessments taken helped me identify my personality beyond the usual perception I have of me . These forms of assessments have given me more understanding of my personality and character through an in-depth survey that explains several aspects of my personhood . It further gave me several of my weak points where I need areas of improvement in to develop myself to a better level . Although the central question of

who I really am takes ample efforts in to reveal the answers , the Campbell Interest Skills Survey (CISS ) helped me learn more about myself through the information I was able to gather . These vital pieces of information can help me in making future decisions since this acquired knowledge can serve as the basis upon which my actions and decisions are to be framed

The CISS shows that I have a very high interest and skill in terms of organizing the work of other people as well as managing and monitoring their financial performance . Further , the survey reveals that I have a high interest and very high skills in influencing other people in terms of leadership , politics , public speaking , sales as well as marketing Finally , the survey indicates that I am also adept in analyzing data through the use of mathematics and by carrying out scientific experiments

Although the CISS reveals that I have a relatively low capacity in terms of helping others through teaching , healing and counseling , of creating artistic , literary , or musical productions and designing products or environments as well as producing products and adventuring and competing , the survey nevertheless allows me to internalize on these factors . This amounts to a big help since it helps me identify my weak points and delegate ample attention to them so that I can be able to strengthen my personality even more

One particular career or occupation where my personality , interests abilities or skills and values fit into is that of a Certified Public Accountant or CPA . The occupation essentially requires a strong grasp in analyzing vital pieces of data and the ability to organize these bits of information into a comprehensible and accurate manner . The resulting information from the accounting process is then to be presented which necessitates the ability to influence or convince the relevant authorities or individuals that the information being presented is well-defined and useful

All these elements required from being a CPA can be found in the results from my CISS information . This emphasizes the idea that I am capable and qualified as well of being a CPA essentially because I share the characteristics mentioned and that I can still be able to further sharpen my personality inline with these prerequisites . By applying my strong capacity to organize , influence and analyze I am a step closer to being able to obtain the position of a CPA
