The media article entitled al Waters ' presented plans to which the CO2 emissions can be minimized . The scientific article Contributions to accelerating atmospheric CO2 growth from economic activity , carbon intensity , and efficiency of natural sinks only included the problem source , statistical values that the scientific report also included . In the mainstream media , the

ideas were focused on , dealing with the possible solutions and the criticisms that arose in the proposition of the ideas presented . Both articles emphasized the importance of lowering the emission of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere . The only problem is that the scientific report only included a single path of the CO2 emission that gives the readers of mainstream media much better information , since it included the aquatic environment as one of the endpoint of the released greenhouse gas

The media article is noticeably much longer compared to the scientific report . The purpose of the scientific report was maybe just to inform the readers of the elevating problems regarding the increase in the concentration of CO2 in air . The media article did not just focused on this , but also on the efforts that have been made to solve the problem of industrialization bringing about the continuous exhaustion of the fossil fuel reserves

The media article mentioned that even scientists are not sure about themselves even the aquatic microbiologist Huisman was confused , that increased iron on the ocean surface shall invite planktons to move up and the CO2 would just be staying on the surface , which should actually be on the ocean floor as carried by the planktons

Both articles presented the increasing global economic activity increasing global intensity of the global economy , and increase in AF to be the reasons for the continuous elevation of the CO2 levels in the atmosphere
