The Book of Job begins with a discussion between the Lord and the Satan Satan naturally has hatred for Job because his nature is good and he is God 's favorite . Job has an unfound faith in God and on his steadfastness and principles and on the other hand God also has full faith in Job but at the behest of Satan , God decides to put him on test . He s Satan to inflict maximum sufferings on him . Satan destroys him of all his possessions .
