It however parallels the book and most of the aspects are the same . Today 's corporation requires highly effective managers who are willing to guide their organizations to great success . Highly effective managers know their limits . They know their

strengths and weaknesses and are willing to be corrected . They are not the know it all office type and they are comfortable delegating duties to employees who are more talented than them in certain areas . They don 't bring down the employees that may be smarter than them in certain areas . In other words they have command of their expertise but defer to those who know more than they do about other things . This definitely shows good judgment skills

Highly effective managers listen before speaking . They are good in communication skills and let others put their ideas forward before making their own judgements .Their audience may be customers , or managers , the board , or investors .In short they listen , collect and vet before they begin evangelizing
