U.S Constitution
The new society is based on qualities of fairness , representation and growth . Following the United State 's example , we employ a system of checks and balances based on a three tier organization . What follows is our Constitution I . Legislative Houses The legislative system is based on a representative house divided into to smaller branches . The Lower House chooses representatives based on population of the state in which they reside . The number of delegates changes with each ten year census . Each representative must be at least 35 years old and a

citizen of our country
The second branch , Upper House , is based on equal representation Each state elects two representatives regardless of their population The qualifications are the same as the Lower House
Elections
Each member serves a six year term . They must be elected by a majority vote in their state of origin . They can serve unlimited terms based on the success of their position and the positive vote of their constituents
Bills
To enact a bill , it must be passed in accordance with the following
First the bill is passed by the originating House
Then it is passed by the next House
Once passed , the President can veto (stop ) or pass the bill
If the President vetoes the bill , the houses can override the veto with a 2 /3 majority
Responsibilities
The legislature has the power to control commerce , taxation , the post office , patents and copyrights . Legislature can declare war and regulate the armed forced
II . Executive
Election
The president is elected for four years . He /she will not serve more than two consecutive terms . He /she must be at least 35 years old and a citizen of this country
He /she is elected through a general election to be held in each state The nominee must garner ? majority of the votes in the state . That will count as one vote for them . The Anyone may run , regardless of political party affiliation . That said person must only have a majority Powers
The president is head of the military . They may make treaties and fill vacancies in the legislature , should they occur . The president will appoint his /her own cabinet for the length of the term . If the president should not fulfill his /her given duties or act in a manner inappropriate to the office , he /she will be promptly removed after a trial held by the legislature
III . Judicial
The judiciary is divided into supreme , federal , state and local courts The Supreme Court justices are elected by the people (3 /4 ) majority and serve a 10 year term (This is of course a departure from the United States Constitution ) The other judges are elected in a similar manner by their locality and serve similar terms
A case will be heard on the level most appropriate to its subject matter . Each defendant may appeal their first ruling one time . If they are defeated again , they must serve the consequences for their crime However , at this point , they may appeal their...
