be looked into and changed to ensure better performance of such a thing . Reformation informs of an already existing structure which , perhaps overtime , has lost focus and thus needs to be modified in to ensure better performance
One of the governments that has gained the respect and admiration of all over the years is the American government . Not only is it known for its democratic pattern of governance , the American government has become an object of fancy to several countries in the world . As of today , several countries in the world look up to the American government an directly or indirectly wants to pattern their government with the pattern by which the American is being ruled . To face the fact , it is a heritage that is worth coveting
However , the recent poll that was carried out in October 2007 in America suggests that the people of America are passing a vote of no confidence against the congress of the United States . This is an indication that the people of America have found the legislative arm of government lagging in some areas . Originally , the burden of making legislative rules rests upon the shoulders of the congress members , therefore , the rejection of the acts of the congressmen signifies that the people no longer believes in the policies and laws that are being enacted by the American congress . The question one is to ask here is what is responsible for this ? This becomes essential because it is the same people that choose these congressmen into office . It refutes logical thinking to assume that the people do not believe in these politicians before they elected them into office . If this is true , then what happened along the way
From my point of view and logically , I believe that although the congress can be said to be responsible for a lot of policies that have benefited the people , they have surely gone wrong in some areas . It is rather absurd to think that 75 of the population will simply decide to vote against the confidence they have on the congress without a genuine reason . Personally , I am of the opinion that the congress is doing a poor job presently . For every decision made , there is a corresponding effect and the effect of some of the laws they have passed has had a ripple effect on the people of America
