In addition it is a factor that contributes to reduced motivation among employees . It is important that the University conduct a survey since the

survey will provide a true picture of what is actually happening . It may prove that the institution is paying less than other universities hence the exodus from the University . It will also likely indicate the inequities in salaries . Other benefits of having a survey done include providing an opportunity for the institution to include other benefits that may help employees to add to their retirement accounts and even enable them to take sabbaticals

They decided to conduct a salary survey which resulted in findings that the company 's salary structure was well below the nation 's average for most of its employees . The survey even identified some employees who were way above their salary ranges . All these point to the usefulness of a survey in discovering inequalities .
