DuBoia and Marcus Garvey Name University Course Tutor Date W .E .B Dubois grew up in the North where racism was not very rampant , so he was really shocked at the realization of the kind of racism that was being experienced in the south . It is his fearless fight against racism that has earned him a place in America 's history . As a teacher at Atlanta University he experienced racism at its best . W

.E .B Dubois was enraged by the assassination that was being carried out by the Ku Klux in turn he resorted to teaching , writing books , newspapers in order to educate people through social science . Towards the end of the century W .E .B Dubois got tired of preaching about racism by teaching and writing . He took it upon himself to openly talk about his opinion of racial equality being immediate and not gradual as many wanted it . He encouraged demonstration and remonstration and openly condemned black leaders for not being thorough enough . One such example is Booker T Washington
Most of the remonstrations organized by W .E .B Dubois turned out vicious . DuBois never censured nor commended this , he was neutral . In 1905 , Dubois formed the Niagara movement which later changed names to `The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People ' NAACP Dubois crafted and prepared for publication of the NAACP journal `Crisis ' for twenty four years , as from 1910...
