It 's a historical movement where earlier thinkers who supposedly thought themselves as more enlightened than others embarked on enlightening people . Those thinkers were mostly from London and Paris . They believed on human reason and that it would be used to break away ignorance , superstition and tyranny and thereby build a better world .
