Life is like a journey and at every turning point it has to face something new . The parameters of life alter at every stage of life . Life demands something new and the change is inevitable . In the course of time the old relations are wiped out and the new relations start taking shape . Rather human being inclines towards establishing new relationship . The literary works which are based on the human relationship have different genres . It can be bloomed through light comedies or

serious and tensed stories as well . Tortilla Soup ' is a beautiful movie which focuses on various ridges of human relationship in a comic way with no tension . It is the relationship not only between lover and beloved but also the relationship between the father and the daughters , relationship among the sisters , relationship of man with religion . Unlike the movie , the novel Love at the time of Cholera ' is a serious tale which put in the picture the triangular and rather unromantic love story in which some negative side of human relationship is revealed , which is many times perverted . This is a story of three major characters and the story is woven around them . In both of these artistic works human relationship is the dominating factor .
