The Places I Plan to Visit on Vacation : Las Vegas and Washington , D .C

There are two places I have always wanted to visit . I plan to go to one place to party and another to gain additional knowledge about my country . For this vacation , I plan to visit Las Vegas , NV and Washington , D .C . While both of these cities offer some historical elements , they also offer many sightseeing and entertainment venues that are dramatically different . The first city I 'll visit is Las Vegas , NV

I 'm very excited to finally

visit the city if Las Vegas . I know I 'll be drawn to the glitz , glamour and lights of the Las Vegas strip . Some of the most fabulous hotels in the world are in Las Vegas : The Bellagio The Mirage , MGM Grand and The Luxor . Yes , I 'm of age and plan to take advantage of the one arm bandits (slot machines , keno screens , roulette tables , race and sports as well as poker /gaming tables to see if I can get a return on my investment . I 'll have plenty of money to gamble with since there are so many free or inexpensive quality food and beverage offerings . Contrary to popular belief , prostitution is illegal in the city of Las Vegas and its county , Clark . If one wants to indulge in such activities , legally , one has to go outside of the county . But of course I 'm not one to indulge . I 'm more interested in enjoying the Las Vegas nightlife

The best dance and night clubs , shows and restaurants can be found right on the Las Vegas strip , located within some of the hotels and casinos Many of these clubs are open twenty-four hours a day for dancing drinking , eating and shows shows that are world famous . Many of the top entertainers of our time have concerts and shows that are often times sold out , but I 'm sure I 'll get the chance to see at least one . I do plan to see the White Tiger Habitat at the Mirage and the Lion Habitat at the MGM Grand . Of course , no visit to Las Vegas would be complete without a visit to Hoover Dam . There 's so much more to Las Vegas than gambling as I 'm sure I 'll see . I don 't have to leave the strip to get all the food , gambling , and dancing I desire . The Las Vegas strip is truly a one stop shop for all the fun I want

Washington , D .C , the capitol of our great nation , is the last stop on my vacation but no less important . There is so much rich history and culture in Washington D .C . I 'll be using my visit to learn more about my government , other cultures and my nation 's history . There are so many places to visit and see that I 'm not sure if I can see everything I desire . The Washington Monument , the Smithsonian , the Air and...
