3 Communication barriers present at staples .
The mode of reporting to superiors by staff members working under them
is very bureaucratic . It makes it impossible for the 20 or 31 people
under the Vice president advertising and creative for instance to put a
point across to Jeanne Lewis directly or her superiors . Failure to share
information is another barrier employees do not have the freedom to
hold a joint meeting which would be an effective means of sharing
information . This makes it hard for the entire staff to sit down and
evaluate exactly what would be the way forward
The employees suffer from ``value judgment ' which is manifested by
their wrong attitude towards information . Majority of Lewis ' employees
