Results

58 of the students who responded to the question were males while 42 were females . This reflected the gender demographic of the students in the campus

Most of the respondents were between the ages of 23 years and years old 66 of the respondents were from the senior class i .e . from 3rd year and above while 34 were from junior classes

81 of all the respondents agreed that the rate of crime has indeed increased in the last one year while 19 had not noted any increase in crime

On the issue of sexual harassment as most common crime in campus 20 strongly agreed , 31 agreed , 2 were undecided , while 38 disagreed , and 9 strongly disagreed

On the reason for crime 32 strongly agreed that crime are committed for economic reasons , 22 agreed , 5 were undecided , while 23 disagreed and 18 strongly disagreed

74 of the respondents agreed that criminals target junior student in campus while 26 claimed that they target all people alike

95 of the students agreed that all those who commit these crimes come from within the campus while it was only 5 percent who disagreed with this fact

83 of the respondents responded that it was true most of the students were senior students while 17 did not agree with this . This showed that there was a higher involvement of senior student in...
