College entrance

Everyone hates rejection . It leaves painful memories , depression and reduces self esteem . As much as possible we want our ideas to be valued and recognized . I can still remember the first time I was rejected

I love to paint , it is my passion . Art is one tool I use to express my feelings . This is what I do best . For me , my art is something I can be proud of . One Monday morning , I went to school early to meet my best friend . I headed straight to our bulletin board to check some updates

br and suddenly my eyes got delighted by a poster saying "Paint and win That day was one of the happiest moments of my life . It is my time to shine ' I told myself . With enthusiasm , I listed the audition schedule on my notebook and picked my time and date . After school , I went straight to our home and told my parents about the contest . They were very supportive and advised me to prepare . I practiced and convinced myself that this opportunity is only once in a lifetime . The next day was my big day . I brought my most beautiful still life painting as my contest piece . I was very nervous but it did not stop me from facing the judges .
