Name of Student Professor 's Name Course Title 11 October 2008 Living at Home , Staying in the Dormitory , and Renting a Single Apartment : Where a College Student Should Live I have tried living at home , experienced staying in the dormitory , and I also know how it is to rent a single apartment believe me I know where a college student should reside in . Living at home may be a hassle since one may be asked to help in the household chores . Staying in the dormitory , however , obliges one to participate

in social events they organize . Renting a single apartment , on the other hand , may also be annoying since one is obliged to do everything and nobody is there to lend a helping hand . Despite the hassles that go along with the three choices , renting a single apartment is still the best choice
Living at home means everything one needs may be there including personal computer /notebook , references /books , parents for support and guidance , as well as , siblings for academic assistance or help one with chores . This saves one from getting homesick as well . The problem with living at home is that , if it is a little far from school then one will be obliged to travel to and from school wherein time , energy , and money will be wasted . Also , if there are things needed which are only available in school then it really becomes a hassle for instance , the library or the laboratory or if there are group meetings then one may likely to be absent . In addition to that , there are several household chores that one is obliged to do before eventually carrying out things for the school , i .e , study , research , finish assignments , etc
Staying in the dormitory , on the other hand , provides a friend whom one can eat , study , work out with (Xplor Communications n .p Furthermore , living in it lessens one 's list of things to carry out in fact , one may only eat , study , and sleep ' since one is not obliged to go over to someone and pay the rent since it is already a part of the matriculation fees billed earlier , one is not also forced to do laundry since such services are usually offered there , one will not even have to worry about food since food is prepared and served there already (Xplor Communications n .p . Moreover , one should not worry about internet and cable TV since access to the aforementioned are also granted to occupants (Xplor Communications n .p .
