It was a huge event which suddenly happened and encapsulated the world with two battling and reigning ideologies . The United States and the Soviet Union were the main players of this conflict where deceptions and proxy wars were mostly used as tools . The Cold War was considered to have ended in

the first years of the 20th century and questions regarding the instigator of this conflict have been prominent . Finding the instigator of this war can also be paired with the query on who held a greater responsibility in escalating the situations of the Cold War

Both parties did drastic and aggressive measures to be able to retaliate against every step made by one another . The Cold War became a form of competition between two powerful states with different ideologies to incur in the world population . The battle of principles transcended into the display of military might which involved their respective allies into wars where the United States and the Soviet Union were not directly involved . But who actually started the battle ? There were three different schools of thought which pointed out the reason for causing the Cold War . The traditionalist pointed the Soviet Union as the perpetrator while the revisionist blames the United States , and the post-revisionists pertain to the two parties...
