Christianity
Running head : CHRISTIANITY Christianity [name] [institution] [professor] [course] Christianity Christianity had become one of the most widely-embraced religions in history . Practically , there are Christians everywhere in the globe . But it would be important to note that Christianity is not unified . There are countless ways of being a Christian . And as a consequence Christians themselves argue as to who is more Christian One primary reason for the multiple versions of Christianity is because of the holy book itself , the Bible . The Bible , just like Christianity has gained

worldwide acceptance . It is even regarded as the most published and distributed book in human history . The problem with the Bible is that it is very open to interpretation . The Bible is written in rich metaphoric language - perhaps only a percent of the text is explicit . Since the Bible is open for interpretation , it is just understandable that disputes are inevitable
Moreover , the of religion is basically focused on who is good and bad . And as we come to know better the nature of these things , goodness and badness are very relative s . What is good to one person could be the worst thing for another person
But perhaps the most likely reason why there are multiple versions of Christianity is because of Christ himself . Christianity had flourished way after the death of Christ . There was no way of confirming his teachings . This had left room for individuals to use Christianity for political reasons . In addition to that , there is the concept of traditional /puritan and those who refuse the traditional practices of Christianity
It is just ironic that there are so many versions of Christianity when the religion 's major purpose is to unify humanity . Perhaps the problem had risen because people were focused much more on the religion rather than the faith itself
