The leadership offered in any organization or exhibited by an individual is determined by the qualities of the leaders as well as the leadership approach . While some leaders settle for less , visionary leaders settle for nothing other than exemplary leadership . This calls for carefulness as leadership is not simply about being the first , biggest or most powerful . Christian leadership emphasizes on showing the direction to be followed and influencing subordinates to follow that direction , this in

the belief that , every one can become a leader , as long as they are nurtured well . This discusses the five approaches to leadership according to (Kouzes , Posner 2004 ) which include the call for leaders to model the way , the call for leaders to inspire a shared vision , the need for leaders to challenge the process , leadership which enable others to act , as well as the call for leadership to encourage the heart so as to influence many to become leaders

Exemplary leadership provides a platform in which the staffs are able to achieve the organizational goals and objectives . To ensure the above exemplary leadership provides an enabling environment whereby utilization of all resources such as knowledge , technology , as well as finances is done with an aim of improving job performance . Exemplary leadership style is also important in that , it appreciates the need for involvement of every single employee in the decision making process , in line with Christian doctrine for humility for one another . Therefore exemplary leadership is viewed as effective given the fact that , by embracing a flat-like organizational structure , it encompasses every single employee , in the decision making process

Exemplary leadership appreciates that , just as it is taught in Christianity , human resources diversity is an important resource to any organization and if used well it can contribute largely to the success of the organization . Good leaders are the ones who appreciate the role of all employees regardless of the position they hold in an organization and therefore encourages others to act . This is based on the knowledge that , for success to be achieved in a team , all parties must pull in the same direction something which is very central to the job performance of the organization

Exemplary leadership therefore appreciates the beauty of diversity as well as advocating for cultural tolerance in diversity . By following the five approaches of model the way , the call for leaders to inspire a shared vision , the need for leaders to challenge the process , leadership which enable others to act , as well as the call for leadership to encourage the heart , exemplary leadership achieves communication goals of the organization . This also encourages the workers to remain open honest and good ambassadors of the organization . Quality communication skills lead to good public relations with the employees , the public as well as the other partners
