At present , the automotive industry of the country is not doing well as big automotive manufacturers are suffering from economic problems This concern is compounded by environmental movements calling for them to create eco-friendly vehicles . As more and more people are gaining awareness and concern for our environment , the more the automotive industry should cope and adapt to their demands . Because

of this , new cars are developed to address the people 's call to go green . Now , we can classify the automobiles used today as conventional fuel engines electric cars , and hybrid cars

The conventional automobiles which run on fuel (either gasoline or diesel , are still the most common type of automobile being used today These cars run on conventional fuels , which are expensive and are now considered harmful to the environment . With the increasing green awareness ' coupled with the high prices of fuel , this automobile type is starting to lose its popularity . People are now looking for ways on how to make more fuel-efficient engines , or just ditch this type of automobile and opt for a better one . The fuel for these automobiles are derived from fossil fuels , which is why this is engine is also considered wasteful . It is because fossil fuels are non-renewable resources , since it took millions of years to create what we are using today
