Language is full of surprises . The multitude of words , meanings , and connotations produces numerous influences on our lives . A word can hurt more than the most painful wound . A word has already become an effective tool of humiliation and offense . Throughout years , I have tried to understand how words interact with our reality and how the ways we interpret their meanings impact our lives .
