Name Professor Subject April 3 , 2008 China Daily Xinhua 's article entitled Hu Talks with Bush in Tibet ' which was published in Daily China discussed the happenings in Hu and Bush 's conversation in the different issues of Tibet 's society , religion present , and future situation . Xinhua illustrated Hu 's conversation with the American president through telephone about the issue between Taiwan and China . As the Dalai Lama of Tibet , Hu discussed the Tibet 's perception on China 's policy . During the conversation , Hu said that he is

willing to negotiate and interact with China but they must also provide the right kind of policy for Tibet 's Independence . It means that he is asking China to free Tibet from its colony . However , Bush told Hu that China is willing with what Dalai Lama is trying to ask but he must be the first to split or destruct his people from opposing the Tibet Independence ' for it will cause terrible problem in the coming years Bush is also worried about the possible negative situation that might occur in Beijing Olympics that is why he asked Dalai Lama 's help to at least minimize the problem
At the end of the conversation , Dalai Lama wished positive future between China and United States as they strengthen their forces together
