The author also continuously comments on the simplicity of the movie and how strong the female character Maria is For a person who does not appreciate art , it is quite understandable not to mention his gender . However , for someone like me , and other people who truly understand the rules of feminism , they will be d with how the importance and rights of women is presented in this movie Overall , the sound of music is a movie for all ages and is better watched with your whole family with you . This movie is very satisfying and would definitely be worth a second watch
