In line with Melgosa in 2003 on Adolescents and parents , adolescence or teenage years is a transition period where a lot of doubts uncertainties and hesitations are present and in most general sense hundreds of thousands of adolescents are at risk for psychological distress . If the doubts are not treated correctly then some signs of immaturity in the adult person might remain . Mainly the adolescents counseling techniques

and theories need to be implemented to transform these years to be the time for idealism and hope . Providing academic advising , logistical duties , consulting , counseling projects , and personal counseling of adolescents opens up the young person 's energy and ensure that it is committed to noble projects . These techniques ought to be dynamic because adolescence today is very different from yesterday (Melgosa , pg 10 . Today the age has much more social importance due new social and cultural milestone and therefore greater challenges , difficult questions but also greater opportunities
