It was a program promoted by the United States government , forming the foundations of the Bush administration , in to improve the quality of education by supporting the educational achievements and successes of the students and shifting the atmosphere in educational institutions by integrating the concept of the said act . This was implemented by Bush in to address the growing needs of underprivileged children regarding their

educational success . With the realization of the NCLB , the U .S Congress reviewed the Elementary and Secondary Education Act or the ESEA , and reauthorized this particular act , in to establish the implementation and strengthen the foundations of the NCLB (U .S Department of Education , 2005
The major concentration of the implementation of NCLB is in public or state schools all over the country . It has increased the educational standards of public or state educational institutions . Moreover , the major responsibility of public or state educational institutions is to ensure that children achieve academic success . Therefore , public or state educational institutions are held liable to this responsibility The law requires assessing and evaluating the standards of each public or state school in the nation by testing general knowledge and skills of their students . The results from the said testing would determine whether schools need improvement or are sufficiently aided to achieve the standards of the NCLB . Furthermore , the results from the said testing would allow parents to choose high standard schools for their children (Kepler , 2002
Overall , the primary aim of the NCLB is to make sure that no child is left behind with regards to academic achievement or success . It sees that children need to be honed in such a way that they are able to acquire all the knowledge and skills necessary for them to become academically inclined . This particular objective is achieved by making sure that all public or state schools in the country adhere to the standards and regulations of education that supports the NCLB
