This essay seeks to explore the strategies that a company may adopt in its efforts to streamline the expenditure on employee benefits schemes It has lately been an issue of major concern for corporations about the escalating costs of providing employee benefits and particularly the health care benefits . Companies continue to experience rising health care costs in the face globalization and

labour market completion . As a result , it is often not advisable that a company considers compromising the health care benefits that it offers to its employees . What is appropriate thus is for companies to adopt a strategy approach that would present a win win situation for both the company and its employees . Key among such strategies is managed health care , a strategy that has been embraced by Polson Corporation . It is therefore important to explore how best such strategy changes are communicated to the employee , and the potential cost reduction benefits that would come along with such strategy changes
