In today 's fast paced world , nothing is isolated in its pre-defined boundaries like it used to be . Everyone interacts and socializes with every other person in the world and concept of discrimination or being biased is gradually diminishing . Global standards are being constructed to conduct certain businesses which suit the requirements of every culture at the same time . Human Resource is no more restricted to the place where entity is situated it is

being hired from all parts of the world in accordance with capabilities and performance . Robert Wuthnow (2007 ) states in his book America and the challenges of religious diversity , The reflections and expressions of American Hindus Buddhists and Muslims indicates clearly that pluralism exists in United States . Apart from global diversity , USA is facing so many other challenges of diversity as well

Nowadays , individuality is highly encouraged . Every individual is treated as a separate entity , free from any influences from his surroundings . Every person has his own perception , attitude and individual behavior and these factors are shaped by other factors which include assumptions and beliefs , ethical values and artifacts . These are the foundations of a specific culture of a place which differs substantially from other cultures at global level . These differences in cultures are termed collectively as diversity
