Over 6 .8 billion people live on this planet today . Of those 6 .8 billion more than 1 .02 billion do not have enough food to eat . The issue of World Hunger , why does it exist and how ordinary citizens of the world could help , has been slowly taken into the recognition of the general public . What (and what does not ) causes world hunger paper will focus on the most possible causes and how it contribute to the

problem faced by the whole world

First of all , is there a shortage of food in the world ? - The answer is no . Today , there is actually more than enough food for everyone to be healthy and productive from all the necessary nourishments . Sadly , the reality is that there is an inappropriate distribution of the food for the entire world 's hungry to be fed . Some countries and organization have tried solving world hunger via increasing food production , but only to lead to inefficiency - boosting the trade of expensive export of basic foods

Although it has been noted that there has been a large spike in the world 's population in the last century , it is erroneous to say that overpopulation causes hunger . Mentioned that many densely-populated cities are faced with hunger , but it does not explain the co-existence of hunger and abundance of food in countries such as in Nigeria and Brazil
