able to make clear the fact that he would have to become more approachable , involved and informed of the thoughts and feelings of the Lab employees . This could be done through active involvement with the employees and constant interaction with them how Ralph did that was upto him and John need not interfere in that section

In conclusion , I would like to add the fact that conflict resolution is best done through logical reasoning , open communication and two-way exchange of ideas . John should sit down with both the managers again explaining to them his rationale and listening to their feedback to it While instructing them with one way forward , he can then think out possible alternatives and solutions while one is being implemented . That way , John can become an effective conflict solver and enable the company 's departments to perform at their level best addressing the low employee morale and transfer request issues in the long-run
