Career thought 4

There are eight (8 ) skills which ranks the top among the skills I possess as of the moment . These include designing , portraying images visualizing , innovating or inventing , generating ideas , improvising , and working with numbers and with teams . Among these , those skills that I strongly dislike are those skills which have to do with numbers Examples of the jobs which involve working with numbers are Accounting or Finance . Currently , I am taking up a class of Accounting 1 which I find to be boring . I do not like doing tasks such as these for

the reason that it does not capture my interests and I feel tired after having to deal with numbers for a long period of time . In addition to this , I could not even imagine myself having to work with numbers alone for the rest of my career

Among these skills , the one I personally want to develop is my skill in team work . I believe this is an important and helpful ability that I would need as I go on with my career . I plan to develop this through experience . I firmly believe that developing such ability as teamwork would have to take on the practical application in everyday living . With this , I would have to improve on my communication skills to make me more capable in interacting with others . In connection with this , I would want to take on classes that would help me improve my English such as English classes . As a student , it would help me more if I would be able to join more clubs or organization that will make me work with groups of people . Moreover , I would accept more tasks that require working with groups such as assignments and I would have to make sure that I would be able to participate actively in all the activities of the group . With greater frequency of interaction with other people , I would be able to gain more friends and develop my skill in teamwork at the same time With the realization that my interactions with people would not always be good , I am preparing myself to learn and be patient with such . Within myself , I would learn values such as avoiding about thinking of my self-interest alone . I would try to weigh the consequences of every action and would look after the interests of others . I would want to make sure that I am not stepping on their well-being as well . If I see that our interests are at opposite ends , I would have to encourage them to discuss things and be able to set an agreement that would make everyone win in this term . This would lead me to become a prosocial being which is one characterized to be helpful and cooperative (Kassin These two characteristics , being helpful and cooperative , are essential to developing teamwork
