It has taken place since time immemorial to criminals in virtually all societies except from a few that have had firm religious believes against such inhumane behaviors . Crimes like murder automatically led an execution sentence . It was seen as

a sure way to payback for the crime committed and it brought peace to the societies knowing that the criminals would never repeat the same crimes (Pojman br
. Louis , R , H . 1998 . The most common methods of execution used were hanging and shooting . Countries like the U .S . used and still use electrocution , gas chambers and lethal injections to dispose of the convicted . They have however tried to minimize the pain of execution by introducing the electric chair . In some parts of the world , more pain is deliberately inflicted on the condemned . All this is not justified under any circumstances . It is morally wrong , cruel and inhumane way of taking away of human life which basically makes it murder
The laws however have ruled it as a sure way to punish major offenders and law breakers . This on the contrary as perceived by many is not a clear and just way of dealing with criminals no matter how bad the crime may...
