The Canadian federal nature serves to complicate the jurisdictional authority for accounting matters . The Canadian constitution serves to empower the ten provinces to regulate educational matters including the training and the certification of accountants and each province shares with the federal government the entitlement to incorporate organizations and associations . As a consequence of this division and consequence of responsibilities , a great deal of efforts in Canada has been expended by

br accounting bodies in jurisdictional disputes and in the coordination of educational activities . Despite all these , Canadians contribution to accounting thought and practice is remarkable and instructive and has focused on the evolution of accounting institutions , practices and standard setting . The institution tries to demonstrate the effect of the accounting profession in shaping the early corporate financial statement disclosure and regulations

Over the past years , there has been an interest in the analysis and the general study of the culture of the Canadian people , though not very clear , the Canadian culture is pegged to paintings and works of architecture done by different artists .
