Do you think Angelo is underperforming as a result of motivation or something else , such as the need for improved training ? How would you find out

Angelo is not underperforming due to lack of motivation but as a result of incompetence in the kind of work he is performing . Perhaps Angelo does not have the experience needed in his work even though they might have performed well in their academics . Recruiting excellent employees for a company is

one of the critical fields which requires one to be talented and experienced . Angelo may thus have lacked these competencies . In for one to perform well in a company , there is a need for them to get more training concerning that particular field (Liff , 2009 . Even though motivation can cause one to have low morale with the job one is performing , I do not consider their underperformance to be resulting from absence of morale . This is because , as a professional , there is a need for one to be patient and follow the right channels within the company . Angelo may also be underperforming as a result of frustration arising from some hard task they are performing Further , they might not be having the right knowledge of performing it efficiently . Angelo 's underperformance may also be as a result of being allocated work which is tedious and also which may need another person to assist him
