Purpose of the study

Business ethics refers to the behaviors that any business adheres to in their day to days running . They refer to how a business deals and relates to the outside world . Business ethics applying in a business are usually diverse and involve the daily dealings carried out between the business and its customers . It is a law requirement that all business should observe certain ethics while conducting their business . However for any business to be

successful , it must observe more than just the outlined ethics by the law . The purpose of this research would be to identify the forms of business ethics exercised by businesses which are not particularly a law requirement as well as evaluating the different arguments put forward as regarding business ethics and business laws

Introduction

There has been a debate on whether business ethics implementation in an enterprise entails a means to ensure that an enterprise complies with business laws or whether it is more than just observing the laws . Some individuals feel that business ethics rules are just a means of complying with the law while another group feels that it involves more than just observing the law . However , business ethics play an essential role in determining the overall performance of a business entity .
