Success in aspects of leadership is considered to be related to the success of the team . There are several factors that need to be considered as a person tries to establish a good leadership that leads to a well-motivated team and a successful outcome for the group . This is based on the present needs that

are posed by the nature of the organization or the teams as well as the goals that are being attained However , there are several skills that are deemed to be applicable for leadership to maintain satisfaction that would likewise lead to the success of the team . In identifying the said skills , it is necessary to define what a leader is and identify the elements that are associated with satisfaction

What is a Leader

Leaders are considered to be individuals who provide for direction in a particular organization and this includes the elements of being a visionary and a master of change (Fisher 1999 . First , by being a visionary , the leader is able to foresee and predict the things that are yet to come based on the present and the trends that are being taken into consideration . They are given the responsibility to go beyond what is presently before them for them to be able to see what is ahead of them . This would mean that the leader is able to see the obstacles and the success they might face in the future and prepare for it in the present through appropriate and relevant actions . With the dynamic nature that sometimes surrounds the teams and the organizations , it is necessary for the leader to be able to anticipate these changes and constantly adapt to it . Second , it is also mentioned that they need to be masters of change . They are to initiate the changes that they take through the role of a visionary . It is important that they are able to identify the appropriate changes that need to be introduced and be courageous enough to take the necessary steps that are to be associated with these changes . The leader is able to see and pursue what others dare not do and this is usually beyond the routine tasks that are associated with management

Elements of Satisfaction

Job satisfaction is defined to be the perspective of the employees with regard to the current work being carried out by an individual (Bush Middlewood 2005 . There are different sources of job satisfaction that could serve as the target of the leaders .
