Name of Student Name of Professor Course Date Business Ethics In the realm of business , situations may arise that tend to challenge the ethical decision-making of a person . This is often referred to as business ethics (Shaw 5 . This is indeed evident in the case of Hector Valencia , a controller for an automotive dealer . He first started working at the Shamalay Automotive , a small foreign car dealer that is situated at Austin , Texas . However , he resigned from this company and moved to a bigger one , the Mueller Imports . During

his stay in the company , he noticed some irregularities in their operations . He found out that the company 's owner , Franz Mueller , was bribing the regional sales dealers and other sales executives with expensive jewelries like Rolex watches . In doing so , the company was given the privilege to purchase all the cars that were given to that particular regional sales dealer .
